Accused: 1 (Pacific Coast Justice)
by Janice Cantore

Janice Cantore is a former police officer now writing crime dramas and they are wonderful! She writes with detail that she could only have from living the life of a police officer.

The main character, Carly, is so well written that you feel like you know her and are rooting for her to get the jobs she wants on duty, for her to come to Christ, and for her to reconcile relationships.  She is an amazing cop with great instincts even in the toughest of times. Her professional life as well as her personal life are very intriguing and will keep you turning the pages!

Not only are all of the characters well written but the police lingo is amazing and really adds to the story.  You feel as if you are in the middle of a police precinct listening to a bunch of cops talk and it really feels real. Also, Cantore's descriptions of people and places are very detailed and draw you in even more.

Accused also has a very well written story line with great plot twists.  It wasn't like anything I've read before or seen on T.V. or in a movie.

You won't regret reading this book! And stay tuned. Reviews of books 2 and 3 coming soon!
