What it is like rooming with twins...

So my friends from college, Steve and Christine, that have twins won´t find any of this to be the least bit surprising...since they have twin boys...and a baby girl...but I´m going to share what it has been like this last week with twin 13 month old boy roommates :)

So let me preface all of this with the fact that they are two of the cutest little boys I´ve ever seen in my whole life and I am totally in love with them...

But...

They both have bad upper respiratory infections and cough A LOT.
The older one (by two minutes), A, wakes himself up coughing and then cries.
Then the other one, P, wakes up and cries too.

They can´t seem to decide if their bedtime is 7:30 or 9:00 p.m.

They´ve already figured out they are the newest, smallest babies in the home and therefore everyone is in love with them.

They are VERY attached to Molly and I because we have cared for them almost exclusively for the past week (they arrived a week ago today).

They wake up around 6 or 6:30 and want their bottles NOW. Which means they scream until the water heats up and we get the formula mixed!

They HATE getting their diapers changed, clothes changed, and getting baths.

Therefore...Molly and I haven´t gotten much sleep. But it´s okay because when the twins see us their faces LIGHT up and they get these adorable smiles on their faces! And they say ¨hola¨ and they wave and they hold their arms out to us and it is just adorable.

Oh and most of the time they are perfect little angels and play well together sitting on the floor...but sometimes (like this morning) they decide they should pick on each other and one punched the other and then the other knocked him down! So cute...even when they´re fighting...
